Charlie RZ is a fast-growing Swiss chard variety that is especially suitable for baby-leaf use. It has a slightly savoyed, oval leaf shape and slender stem. The leaves are a shiny green colour with clearly visible red veins, creating an attractive contrast. The leaves and stems are strong and they are good against bleeding. Charlie RZ is strong against Cercospora and Peronospora, and also strong against insect damage in some countries. Charlie RZ is recommended for year-round production.
