Dexter RZ is the most versatile variety in the Rijk Zwaan range. It has an upright vigorous frame with excellent self-cover. The base is well protected by a ring of thick leaves preventing curd discolouration The curd is exceptionally deep and white and the florets are small and tight, making it the ideal dual-purpose variety for pre-pack and industry.

Castellum RZ is similar to Dexter RZ in maturity and timing. Upright vigorous frame with excellent curd protection. Very strong root system allowing good production on non-ideal cauliflower land. White dense curd. Vigour is greater than Dexter RZ but care must be taken on fast land that not too much Nitrogen is applied for fear of curd cracking.

Upright vigorous variety bridging the gap between the fast over winter types and the slower maturing summer varieties, such as Chambord RZ or Dexter RZ. Excellent curd presentation. Good deep curds with excellent shape and colour.

Very healthy Romanesco type for late autumn production. Mature in 110 – 130 days from transplanting. It is suited to cooler, slower growing conditions. It is highly partially resistant to white blister, ringspot and downy mildew. Curd quality is uniform with good vigor.

Miramonte RZ is a first early cauliflower for harvesting from mid June to mid July. It is 6 days earlier than Adelanto RZ. The plant is vigorous and the wrapper leaves cover the curd well. The head is dense and produces a white curd with a good shape. Growing days vary from 60-70 days producing a vigorous plant habit.

Producing a dark green curd, Vitaverde is suited to a ‘normal’ summer in the UK. It has an upright frame with good curd cover. The curd is dense and deep. Maturity varies from 70 - 85 days depending on the time of year. Vitaverde is a unique variety which can be grown through Summer without loss of quality.

Stabilis RZ is our most recent new introduction. In trials it performs best overwinter from an October sowing and matures as a 2nd early variety. It has extremely upright foliage, making harvest easier. Vigour is good early and late season where growth is slower but needs irrigation to perform to its full potential mid summer.
